5 Must Eat Universal Snacks

Eating is part of the theme park experience!  In fact, if you walk out of Universal Orlando and did not try one of these magnificent treats, did you even go to Universal?

While this list certainly doesn’t tell you everything you need to eat while visiting Universal Orlando, it does give you a pretty good start!  Let’s get started with five Universal must-eat snacks!

Butterbeer is one of my favorite Universal snacks and something that delivers me right into the Harry Potter story. It’s available in many different varieties, hot being my personal favorite!

  • Hot – only offered on cool or cold days. It’s the ONLY reason I like cold days in Florida!
  • Cold
  • Frozen – my second favorite option and the one I get most often.
  • Ice Cream
  • Potted Cream Butterbeer

Where to find Butterbeer in all it’s varieties:

  • Butterbeer can be purchased in Diagon Alley and Hogsmede.
  • Butterbeer Ice Cream is at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley.
  • Potted Cream Butterbeer is at the Leaky Cauldron (Hogsmede)and Three Broomsticks (Diagon Alley).

Pizza Fries

A Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) Universal snack favorite, Pizza fries combine two American favorites, French fries and pizza and mixes them into one.

Typically you would only be able to enjoy Pizza Fries at HHN but with the cancellation of HHN for 2020 Universal has blessed us all with this fun favorite Universal snack during regular park hours.  Don’t miss it!

Pizza Fries are available at Louie’s Italian Restaurant in Universal Studios.  Note that they are not listed on the menu out front!  Ask about their availability at the order window.

The Big Pink Donut

Donut fans will rejoice at this Homer Simpson sized Universal snack.  Enjoy it as is or turn it into a Brain Freezin’ D’oh-Nut Sundae. Can you imagine – one Big Pink Donut split in half and filled with soft service ice cream smothered in a topping of your choice?

The Big Pink Donut can be purchased at Lard Lad Donuts in Springfield (Simpson’s area) at Universal Studios, Kwik-E-Mart, or Krusty Burger Food court.

universal Studios best snacks crepes central park

New to Universal Studios this incredible snack at Central Park Crepes offers crepes of all varieties both savory and sweet.

The best part in my opinion… they’ve made it an easy to eat park treat that doesn’t require a fork.

Crepe varieties:

  • Chicken & Goat Cheese
  • Smoked Brisket
  • Vegan Sausage
  • Lemon Blueberry
  • Strawberry Hazelnut
  • Cookies & Cream

On our most recent trip, we tried out the Lemon Blueberry Crepe. All I can say is lemon pound cake inside the crepe. How could you possibly go wrong here!

Central Park Crepes is located at Universal Studios in the Central Park area of the park. It sits across the pathway from Cafe La Bomba.
