The Disney Dream

Introduction

Next up on our cruise through the Disney Cruise Line Fleet is the Disney Dream. If you missed Part 1, you can check it out here. We have also already covered the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure.

The Disney Dream first set sail in early 2011 visiting Nassau and Castaway Cay. 14 years later, you can still find her sailing to those same ports along with a few new ones, like Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Dream is a sister ship to the Fantasy, so they share a similar architectural design as well as capacity and size. Let’s explore everything the Disney Dream has to offer.

Disney Dream Pool

Pools and Water Features

The Disney Dream makes it easy to stay cool at sea with water fun for every age and energy level. Thrill-seekers won’t want to miss the AquaDuck. This high-flying water coaster wraps around the ship with 765 feet of splashy twists and ocean views. For little ones, Nemo’s Reef offers a shaded, interactive splash zone inspired by Finding Nemo. Mickey’s Pool with its cheerful slide and shallow water is perfect for kids ready to make a splash.

Families can enjoy movie time in the sun at Donald’s Pool, located right in front of the Funnel Vision screen. The nearby Funnel Puddle provides a quieter space for mellow lounging and gentle play. Adults looking for relaxation will love the Quiet Cove Pool, a serene, 18+ retreat with plush loungers and specialty drinks. Or head over to Satellite Falls, a peaceful wading pool with cascading water and panoramic ocean views. Whether you’re chasing thrills or just dipping your toes in, the Dream has the perfect spot to soak it all in.

Shows – The Walt Disney Theater

The Golden Mickeys

An award show on the first night of the cruise featuring different Disney characters and musical numbers. There’s even a chance you could end up as a part of the show.

Beauty and The Beast

A live show Beauty and The Beast retelling that is unique to the Disney Dream.

Disney’s Believe

An original musical telling the story of a father rediscovering the magic of imagination. You’ll catch favorite characters and songs from Disney favorites like Cinderella, The Lion King, and Peter Pan. This is the must-see show of the three onboard, in our opinion.

Movie Magic At Sea

Watch beloved films outdoors on the Funnel Vision screen above the family pool, where you can lounge or float under the stars. For the latest blockbusters, head to the Buena Vista Theatre for a rotating lineup of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars films. These sometimes premiere at sea the same day they hit theaters on land. And don’t miss the Walt Disney Theatre’s spectacular live performances, featuring Broadway-quality productions. With stunning sets, unforgettable music, and appearances from fan-favorite characters, these shows are a pure Disney Dream.
