Checking In and Out

Disney's Boardwalk Resort lobby

Checking in and out at BoardWalk Inn is a breeze with multiple options available. You can use the front desk, check-in online through the official Walt Disney World website, or utilize the My Disney Experience app.

After online check-in, you’ll receive a room-ready notification and can use your MagicBand or the digital key feature in the app to unlock your room door.

My personal favorite is on the app.  This means I never have to wait in line to check in at the front desk!  I have occasionally had to return to the front desk for app issues where my key won’t show up. It’s frustrating, but rare.

You don’t need to check out at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. Your credit card on file, you’ll have provided it during your online checkin or at the front desk, will be billed for any charges on your account and you will be emailed a final statement.

Should you need assistance with your bags you’ll call bell services from your room phone and they will come to your room to assist you with your luggage.
