Buca Di Beppo in Celebration, Florida.
I was recently invited to dine at Buca di Beppo in Celebration, Florida to share with all of you. Now, this may sound like an odd place to share seeing as how it’s not directly at Disney World or another great resort location. After all, sharing my love of travel and what to see and do while traveling is what I’m all about! But hang tight, I promise there’s a reason for this visit! Let’s start with Celebration, Florida! Have you heard of it?
In the early ’90s the Walt Disney Company set out to build a master-planned community within proximity to the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, its intentions remind me so much of Walt had envisioned for EPCOT! If you have no idea what I’m talking about go ahead and do a little google search on the history of Epcot and take a little ride on the People Mover in Magic Kingdom to bring yourself up to speed!
Back to Celebration! This 4,900-acre community was thoughtfully planned and developed with multiple villages, amenities, connecting bike pathways and nature trails and some beautifully designed buildings by many famous architects. I mean what architect doesn’t want to design for Disney? (I might know a few that call this a privilege!) This front porch, all American idyllic community is what we now call Celebration, FL and is directly connected to Disney World via World Drive and that is WHY dining at Buca di Beppo was a must for me!
What You Need to Know:
Buca di Beppo is an Italian restaurant serving family style meals and is great for large parties or smaller families. Because Buca di Beppo is not on Disney property dining plans cannot be used here. However, there is a lot of value in what you’ll find and is great for larger parties that are interested in dining together without the Disney price tag or restrictions of making reservations last minute. Reservations are suggested and are made directly on their website. When choosing a location from the drop-down menu you’ll see there are locations across the US. Choose Celebration-Kissimmee.
Buca di Beppo is also a great alternative to room service when staying at Disney World and it’s surrounding resort hotels! This is the part I like the best! All of the menu items can be delivered directly to your room using Uber Eats! This is a service I use often when I’m traveling! Some nights you just need to veg in your room but still enjoy a good meal!
Tips for getting a reservation/table:
- Reservations can be made online up to a year in advance but you certainly don’t need to plan this far out.
- For groups larger than 20 call directly to make arrangments 877-955-2822.

How to Get to Buca di Beppo, Celebration
Use Google Maps for directions to Buca di Beppo or use an Uber if you’re comfortable doing so. Disney Resort transportation does not take guests to Celebration.
Buca di Beppo serves a family style menu meaning portions are large and for sharing. They come in two shareable sizes small and large. Small typically feeds 3 and large 5 but remember when you order multiple items to share, and you should, you may opt for the smaller size in order to try out multiple menu items!
There’s a large assortment of appetizer items to choose from! If you just can’t decide, try the new Buca Trio Platter like we did to get a taste of your favorites!
The Buca Trio Platter serves 5 and they aren’t kidding about this! It’s a lot of food!
Make sure you add on a salad to your appetizer and entree choices. They have several great Italian choices to choose from! We opted to go with the Chopped Antipasti and we weren’t disappointed!
There is so much to choose from here that I don’t even know where to tell you to begin! Pick a favorite and then also pick something new to try! Because it’s all family style it’s a great way to get your favorites while also getting a taste of something you haven’t had before! As my father in law always tells me “you have to broaden your horizons!” I don’t think he’s wrong about this! Adventure is out there, even with food!
Gluten-Free Menu Options
I’m not gonna lie, this was a bit tough! Because so many items are bread heavy and shareable it’s a little trickier to eat here. Gluten Free pasta and bread are not available and I was kinda sad about that. However, the staff seemed knowledgable about what was safe and were able to help guide me through the menu items that were naturally gluten-free ensuring me that the recipe did not contain gluten in an area that I might otherwise think would be safe.
There is a specific gluten-free menu at Buca di Beppo. This is my preference when dining out because I don’t have to rely on the waitstaff to list off selections. There is nothing more nerve-wracking when trying to eat out with a food allergy than watching the wait staff fumble through what they think to be gluten-free!
Gluten Free Pasta Dishes:
Buca di Peppo does not offer gluten-free pasta or bread alternatives.
There are so many traditional Italian desert options at Buca di Beppo! I have no doubt that they’re all wonderful! The only gluten free option is ice cream and since I’m also mostly diary free (I will try a bit of something here and there and then suffer later) I didn’t partake!
Dining Plans are not accepted at Buca di Beppo because it is NOT located on Disney property but in the adjacent town of Celebration.
Bucca di Beppo is an Italian chain restaurant that can be found all over the US and in a few other countries. The restaurant is well known for its family-style meals and a great place for large gatherings. While I don’t know that I would spare the time or expense while visiting Disney World to go to the restaurant, I do think it has a place in your Disney vacation plans. This is a great room service alternative when you’re looking for a yummy meal without the expense of room service or plain ole pizza. All rooms on Disney Resort property have small refrigerators and community microwaves in the main areas. If you’re staying in a villa or suite this is an even better option for an in-room meal and leftovers!
