About Course

Welcome to the Love of the Magic Vacations team of Travel Advisors.  We’re excited you’re here!  Over the next several weeks you’ll participate in multiple online training courses to get you ready to sell travel worldwide.  Some parts are intense and time-consuming, keep at it.  I promise it will be worth it in the end.  And don’t worry, we don’t expect you to remember everything!  The team will continue to help train you as a travel advisor long after you’ve completed this initial coursework.

Week Two – Mexico & the Caribbean
This week you will study Mexico & the Caribbean and learn about travel partners we work with to send our clients on vacation to these beautiful destinations. Make sure to watch the videos and read the information here while also utilizing the Trello Board to show your progress.

Week Three – Cruise Week
This week will be a little intense time-wise as you move through a few of our preferred cruise line training programs. Stick with it, this is the most time-intensive week. (You can take up to two weeks to complete cruise week if needed.) There are other cruise lines we sell and offer to our clients but these are the two we will start with.

Week Four – Catch Up
Use week four to catch on any previous coursework you may have missed or are behind on.

Week Five – Sales & Marketing

Week Six – Qualifying & Quoting
This week we will discuss how to quote vacation requests and follow up with your clients to close the sale. This week will also include travel insurance and why it's necessary to offer it to every client you book.

Week Seven – The Booking Process
This week we will discuss what you are required to do once you're ready to book a client's vacation. There is necessary documentation required by the client and you will need to enter your booking into our CRM (customer relationship manager) in order to be paid your commissions at a later date.

I wish we had access to few forms from the google drive that we didn't have access to in the training drive. Overall, the training was informative, and easy enough to understand.

Great information and easy to navigate through.
