Free Dining is BACK!
Free Dining at Disney World is back! This fan favorite is all the hype each year as repeat guests know the value the free dining has to offer.
Book your next Disney World vacation between January 2nd and February 10, 2025, and get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 3-night, 3-day (at minimum) Walt Disney package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a ticket with a Park Hopper option.
To recap, you must stay at least 3 nights and have a 3 day park hopper ticket to qualify for the free dining promotion. If you don’t typically get a park hopper, don’t dismiss this offer immediately. Do the math, it is often times worth the price of the upgrade!
This offer is available for most arrivals starting May 27th through Jun. 26th and July 7th through August 6, 2025.
If you stay in a value or moderate resort, you get the free quick-service dining plan, and if you stay in a deluxe resort, you get the Disney dining plan! (Details on both plans are below.)
Rooms allotted for this promotion are limited, so if you’re interested, we need to get your reservation made right away. Â It’s only $200 to secure your trip, with nothing else due until 30 days before you arrive.
And don’t worry – if you already have a trip booked during these dates, your Love of the Magic Vacations Travel Advisor will automatically check to see if your trip is eligible for this promotion! If it is, I’ll let you know I saved you some money!
How does the Free Dining plan work?Â
The Disney dining plan allows you to prepay your meals before your trip, so if you’re like me and would like to have everything paid for before you leave, it’s the perfect plan for you! It makes a Disney vacation as close to an all inclusive option as possible. It also makes for an “easy yes” to the kids while in the parks! What an ice cream, yes! Need popcorn? That’s a yes too! It’s just some extra added magic that all Disney vacations need!
There are two levels of dining plan, so let’s look at each.
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan:Â

The Disney Quick Service Dining Plan includes two quick-service meals and one snack per person, per night. Each person also gets a refillable mug for coffee, soda, tea, juice, and more at the resort!
This means that each person in your party gets two quick meals and a snack for each night that you stay. Â So if you stay 5 nights, each person gets 10 quick meals and 5 snacks to use over the course of the trip. Doesn’t sound like enough? Believe me, it’s plenty!
However, just a word of warning – these quick credits can’t be used for sit-down restaurants or character dining, so if you have the quick service plan, those bigger meals will still be out of pocket. But the good news? The quick service meals and snack credits can be used at any Disney park, Disney resort, and Disney Springs!
Disney Dining Plan:Â

The Disney Dining Plan includes one sit-down meal, one quick service meal, and one snack per person per night. Each person also gets a refillable mug for coffee, soda, tea, juice, and more at the resort!
This means that if you stay for five nights, each person gets five sit-down meals (and yes, character meals are included and a great value!), five quick service meals, and five snacks for the duration of the trip. As a person who loves character dining but doesn’t love the PRICE of character dining, I love the dining plan!
Free Dining Plan Tips & Tricks
And now here are some dining plan tips and tricks from your favorite travel advisor – that’s me!
1. There are a few sit down dining experiences that take two of your sit down dining credits. Some examples are Cinderella’s Royal Table, Storybook Princess Dining at Akershus (dinner and lunch – breakfast is only one credit), Storybook Dining at Artist Point, Be Our Guest, and the Hoop-de-Doo Musical Review. If you’re dying for one of these meals, it will mean you have one less dining credit to play around with – but in my opinion, that’s okay, as most of these meals are worth it!
2. If you book a resort that gets you free quick service, you can pay the difference to upgrade to the full dining plan!
3. You can make the most of your dining plan by splitting meals. Even quick-service meals are pretty big at Disney, so sometimes it’s a great idea to split a quick-service meal with your travel companion and then split something else later in the day. This allows you to try a wider variety of food, and you’re also not walking around the park feeling stuffed.
4. Your credits are good for your entire trip and don’t have to be used on particular days. Â Yes, your plan comes with a certain number of meal and snack credits based on the number of nights you stay. But guess what? You can use those credits any time for the duration of your trip. So if you want to wait and do all of your sit down meals at the end of your trip, you can!
