Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Studios – A Review

Universal’s Newest On-Site Resort

Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Studios Orlando is probably my most favorite resort at Universal and a mega bang for its buck!

The resort falls in the Preferred resort category but in my opinion, is as nice as any of the Premier resorts.  In fact, I may actually prefer Sapphire Falls Resort over all of the Premier resorts short of the Unlimited Express Pass that is included with a Premier resort stay.

Let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of this option for your next visit to Universal Studios Orlando.

Sapphire Falls Resort Universal Studios Orlando

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is the newest on-site resort at Universal Studios in Orlando. Opening its doors in the summer of 2016, this Caribbean- themed resort is located just steps away from Universal Orlando’s waterpark Volcano Bay.

It boasts 1000 rooms, delicious food on-site, and a huge sparkling pool, complete with a water slide surrounded by waterfalls. Are you drooling yet?
