Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival Character Topiaries of the Past
Disney loving character topiary guests can unite right here with a look at some of the past Epcot Flower and Garden Festival topiaries that didn’t make the cut this year or have moved around!
Each year some of the character topiaries and gardens are either moved to a new location or not displayed at all. Some of them are worth continuing to share, and therefore I do so here! Enjoy these blasts through the Garden Festival past as Epcot continues to evolve into its new self!
One of my favorite things to do each year at the Flower and Garden Festival is to locate my old and new favorite character topiaries! For a complete look at all the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has to offer see my touring plans and food guide here.
Let’s have a look inside!
This area is behind walls for the 2020 Festival season due to all of the construction happening for the big Epcot transformation! But in 2019 Donald and his nephews hung out here for the festival.
Stitch is one of our favorite Festival character topiaries. We have a big Stitch lover here at my house. Sadly Stitch isn’t out for the 2020 festival.
In 2019, Tow Mater, Lightning McQueen, and Cruz Ramirez made an appearance at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival as Cars 2 hit theaters. In 2020 the Cars topiaries are not out. I hope to see them return in future years!
Mickey and Minne greeted us as we walked into the World Showcase in 2020. I LOVED this display. Mickey and Minne are out again in 2020. You can find them with Goofy and Spaceship Earth perfectly placed behind them for the ultimate Epcot International Festival of the Arts photo backdrop!
This bromeliad dragon has always been one of my favorites. Every year I’ve ever been to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival he’s been in China.
For the 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, he’s moved to Japan with the perfect photo opp and backdrop of Spaceship Earth!
Lady and the Tramp are one of my favorite character topiaries of all time. They’re back for 2020 and nearby but I still love the past location from 2018!
At the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts you’ll find them in the UK.
Bambi and Friends are back for 2020 but can be found in Future World East near Test Track.
