If you’re gearing up for a visit, this delectable treat is one culinary adventure you won’t want to miss.

At first glance, you might think, “Pizza and fries? Together?” Oh, believe me, it’s a match made in foodie heaven. Envision golden, crispy French fries generously smothered in rich pizza sauce, gooey melted cheese, zesty pepperoni slices, and flavorful sausage. All of this is baked to perfection, ensuring every bite is a blend of comfort food goodness.

Having guided countless visitors through their HHN experiences, I’ve observed that while the haunted houses and scare zones are undeniable highlights, it’s often the little surprises, like discovering Pizza Fries, that become cherished memories. They’ve quickly gained a reputation as a cult favorite among HHN regulars. Combining two universally loved comfort foods into one indulgent dish? It’s sheer genius.

Find Pizza Fries that will tantalize your taste buds at Louie’s Italian Restaurant during HHN. But be sure to keep an eye on the event guide or the official Universal Studios Orlando app, as locations can sometimes change.

Need a Pizza Frie Fix at Home?

Obviously, given first choice, we’d all visit Halloween Horror Nights nightly and eat our pizza fries there but seeing as how that’s not an option, even for us locals, we’ll need to get our fix at home.  It’s easy and 99.9% just as good!  It’s just missing the scare zones to bring it all to life.

Ingredients

Serves 4-6 people

• Frozen Crinkle Cut Fries
• Jar of Pizza Sauce
• Ground Italian Sausage
• Pepperoni
• Mozerella

Directions

1. Cook fries in the oven or air fryer as directions on the package give.
   1. Tip: When you cook them in the oven, add foil to the bottom of the cookie sheet. This will save clean up later!
2. In a saucepan, on medium heat, add slices of pepperoni to brown.  How much you cook depends on how much pepperoni you’d like on your fries.  Once browned, set aside on a paper towel to soak off the excess grease.
3. In the same saucepan, add the ground mild sausage and brown until cooked through.  Remove from pan and place on a paper towel to soak up excess grease.
4. Wipe out the saucepan to remove grease.
5. Add pizza sauce to saucepan and bring to a simmer.
6. Add sausage to saucepan and mix.
7. Once the fries are done cooking, remove them from the oven and pour the pizza sauce and sausage mixture into the top of the fries.  I toss the edges of the fries on the cookie sheet to get the edges covered.
8. Add mozzarella chees to the top of the fries and sauce.  Again, you choose just how cheesy you’d like your pizza fries.
9. Top fries with pepperoni.
10. Put in the oven for 5-7 minutes to melt and brown cheese.

Enjoy!  And if you’re really in the Halloween season, watch a scary movie while you enjoy them.  True Crime or Stranger Things are my personal favorites!
