With the Fall season just around the corner at Disneyland Resort, it’s time to get ready for the color changes, cooler weather, and of course, spooky season.
Fall is always an exciting time at Disneyland Resort as it’s jam packed with Halloween decorations, spooky-themed foods, and unique entertainment. There’s always something to look forward to, but it can feel overwhelming to keep track of everything! That’s why we decided to go over everything happening at Disneyland Resort in Fall 2025.
Read on for all of the special events that you can expect between September and November!
Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend

Last weekend, we saw the return of the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend.
Over the course of the weekend, runDisney athletes had the chance to participate in four days of Halloween-themed events, including yoga, kids races, a 5K, 10K, and a half marathon. And some determined participants ran the 5K, 10K, and half marathon to complete the entire challenge!
Let’s hope that this race returns next year, because it looks so fun!
Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort

You cannot miss out on Halloween time at Disneyland Resort.
Halloween at Disneyland started on August 22, with plenty of decorations, entertainment, and treats. One of the biggest transformations at Disneyland includes giant pumpkins in the shapes of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto welcoming you into Disneyland Park. Inside Disneyland Park, Haunted Mansion transforms into the Haunted Mansion Holiday, full of Nightmare Before Christmas enhancements.
Across the promenade, Oogie Boogie welcomes you into Disney California Adventure. And as you make your way down Buena Vista Street, you’ll be greeted by the headless horseman. Over in Cars Land, Haul-O-Ween takes over as the residents of Radiator Springs dress in silly costumes and decorate their homes and shops. And on select nights, Disney California Adventure hosts a huge Halloween party: Oogie Boogie Bash.
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party

Oogie Boogie Bash takes Halloween to a whole new level.
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll find that the theme park transforms into a frightfully fun after-hours event that’s great for the entire family. Here, you can join in on the immersive treat trails and collect tons of goodies, explore the hauntingly beautiful serenescape of Villains Grove, marvel at your favorite Halloween-themed characters in the Frightfully Fun Parade, and ride the Halloween-themed attractions.
Some of my favorite Halloween-themed attractions include Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, which has a completely different soundtrack from its daytime version!
Oogie Boogie has been a hit every year, and this year is no different!
Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park

The spirit of Día de Los Muertos has come back to Disney California Adventure.
As part of the Halloween time at Disneyland Resort, you’ll be able to experience several exciting opportunities inspired by the world of Coco, including a Memory Wall, the Mexican Árbol de la Vida, décor and crafts at Paradise Gardens, and an opportunity to meet Miguel himself.
One of the most exciting parts of the Plaza de la Familia is the celebration of the story of Coco through song. The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco is a festive traveling troupe of storytellers that bring Coco to life with popular songs like “Remember Me” and “La Llarona.”
The Plaza de la Familia is a can’t-miss!
