Not Returning for 2025: Pixar Fest

Pixar Fest

Pixar Fest was something that delighted Pixar and Disney fans alike for the last few years, but as far as we know, is not coming back for 2025.

This is likely due to Disneyland celebrating its 70th anniversary across the entire resort. While this doesn’t sound like welcoming news to Pixar fanatics, you’ll be excited to know that the Pixar Fest-exclusive parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” will be returning at Disney California Adventure!

Read on for everything else coming to Disneyland for the Spring season.

Eggstravaganza

Easter

  • March 25 – April 21

To celebrate Easter, Disney is bringing back Eggstravaganza – a special “egg” search taking place throughout Disneyland Resort starting on March 25.

For this activity, you can search all over Disneyland Resort for character-themed eggs.  To participate, purchase your map and stickers at select merchandise locations, search for the hidden “eggs” based on Disney characters, place the corresponding stickers on your map, then return to a redemption location to receive one of six keepsakes!

The Eggstravaganza is a fun way for your entire group to take on a challenge together!

Star Wars Season of the Force

Season of the Force

  • March 28 – May 11

Returning for 2025 is the popular Star Wars Season of the force, starting on March 28.

“Fire of the rising Moons,” a nighttime show, will perform nightly at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with updated projection effects and galactic music as well as fireworks on select nights. And the fan-favorite Hyperspace Mountain will return to Tomorrowland, known for taking you through the galaxy and encountering TIE fighters along the way.

And of course, a true Disney theme park celebration isn’t complete without themed food!

There’s no denying that 2025 is a momentous year for Disneyland Resort.

The theme park that started it all will start celebrating its 70th anniversary on May 16th with limited-time entertainment, specialty food and beverages, collectible merchandise, and much more. On top of that, Sleeping Beauty Castle will have an elegant medallion and colorful decorations and Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and a few of their pals will have new, stunning outfits in Town Square at Disneyland – just for the celebration!

Over at Disney California Adventure, an all-new nighttime spectacular, “World of Color Happiness!” will debut, inspired by Walt Disney’s words from his opening day dedication. You’ll also be able to catch the returning parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”

Back at Disneyland Park, the fan-favorite “Paint the Night” parade will return, along with the nighttime spectacular “Wondrous Journeys,” enhanced with fireworks on select nights.
